Believing impossible things

“There is no use trying,” said Alice; “one can’t believe impossible things.”

“I dare say you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”

Lewis Carroll
Alice in Wonderland

What impossible things are you believing every morning? Remember that big goal you wrote down back in April? Does it fall into that impossible-thing-to-believe category?

Especially on a Monday. Have you broken yourself of the Monday-is-awful mindset yet, replacing it with a I’m-watching-for-wonderful-impossible-opportunities-this-week mindset?

One of the “impossible” things I am believing at the moment is launching my first online course. This is the month to finish it. Besides content, I am believing I will successfully figure out the technology to fully implement that campaign in a way that serves every person that participates. Some days it does feel as if I am believing six impossible things before breakfast. Like you, I have to choose what I think about so that I am moved into action toward that “impossible” thing I am believing.

Today I am definitely in the Queen’s camp. Join me there, it is exhilarating.
