So long 2012

Here we are on the last day of 2012. Are you thinking “yippee!” or “ugh”? Either way 2013 starts tomorrow.

During the hoopla of December, I’ve given some thought and time to 2012 and how I envision my 2013 turning out.

I counted wins with Jim Bunch. I mentioned that before. If you want to go through it yourself, use this link. It doesn’t cost anything and is a great way to think about the positive that happened in 2012. I am sure you had a lot of it.

There’s another fellow who has had the goal of travelling to every country in the world and he’s been working on it for the past five years. Chris Guillebeau. He’ll finish up in 2013. I’ve been following his blog for two or three years. He has an annual review process he writes about each year. You might like it. Read about it here.

He recommended someone else’s review process. Susannah Conway. I hopped over there this past week, downloading her workbook. Also free. I am going to work on that tomorrow.

Do something! Take the time to review what good you accomplished in 2012. Write down, too, what would make 2013 a breakthrough year for you. As the late Stephen Covey said, “Begin with the end in mind.”

Whatever accomplishments were yours in 2012, whether they were teeny tiny or audacious, I celebrate with you.

For 2013, dream big dreams. Expect great things.

Next week, I’ll be sharing with you my free, online video course. I’ve been working on it for months and glad to count it in the win column for 2012. Yippee!

See you next year. < wink >
